Gubernatorial debate from KWQC tv from Tuesday night. 60 minutes:

Well, Iowans got a chance to look at their candidates for governor Tuesday night. I won’t lie. From the get-go it was very apparent that one candidate had no intention of following rules or telling the truth. Zach Lahn’s  constant interruptions were done with a determined effort to obscure truth and reality.

From Rob Sand we got truth, reality and a vision for Iowa. From Zach Lahn we got lies, misdirection and a constant interruptions with false accusations based on Lahn’s fantasy world.

Iowa has a chance to put leadership based on a fantasy world behind. That world is led by Governor Kim Reynolds with Republican domination of the legislature. This combination along with Trump at the helm in Washington has led Iowa into the dumper in the US.

Based on his constant interruptions, his unfamiliarity with the truth and reality, and the terrible state that his party has put Iowa into, voting for Zach Lahn would be a an insult to the rest of Iowans.

And one final note. It is certainly a shame that Lahn won’t put his children into Iowa public schools so he could learn first hand what the problems in  Iowa schools actually are. Before someone screams this is dragging Lahn’s kids into the limelight, it is not. It is a comment on Lahn’s decision making and choices. Apparently his choices do not include having his family be a part of the real Iowa that he wants to govern.

It was also sickening to see Lahn try to make the Sand family money an issue. The issue with money is not how much you have, but how people who have money lie and cheat and steal to get it or keep it. While Lahn was trying to paint Sand with a brush of the wealthy hypocrite, he was actually making people realize that ±Lahn himself was actually the despised wealthy hypocrite himself.

Zach Lahn is not right for the Iowa that has been crushed by Republicans. We need a leader like Rob Sand who has proven ability to solve problems
