Iowa becomes more and more intolerant. Sure isn’t the same state I remember as a child. 

The first amendment guarantees the freedom of speech and religion. The best solution would have been to simply not allow religious displays on government grounds at any level, but that would not satisfy Christians. Therefore when they got to put up their displays freedom of religion made it incumbent on the state to allow others. Not good enough for Christians who insist they own the whole kit ’n’ kaboodle.

Now I see Ron DeSantis vows to stand behind the lawbreaker. Yet another MAGA hypocrite. 

Let me remind you once more what Barry Goldwater said about the religious right that owns the Republican (MAGA) party lock, stock and barrel these days:  

“Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they’re sure trying to do so, it’s going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me.
