Johnson County Courthouse, Iowa City

The three counties in Iowa that house regents universities – Johnson, Black Hawk and Story, have been forced by the Iowa legislature to elect county supervisors by district instead of at-large. Voters in the three counties sued to stop the new law from taking effect but at this time as far as I know it hasn’t been decided.
