Sunday Funday – Spring Is Just Around The Corner Edition

just not sure

It’s The Corner That Is Far Away.

Well you have survived either an Arctic High or a Polar Vortex. Next task: survive the scare of your next heating bill. Good luck to all. This may kill more than the weather itself.

My daughter called looking for help for her friends in the south where she lives who had frozen pipes. It was like we were speaking two different languages. Our son-in-law went and helped them after his work day, but they couldn’t stop the pipes from bursting. Our language problem stemmed from me being familiar with Midwestern plumbing, not realizing that in the south there are few basements, little insulation and water heaters in the attic. It was the coldest day there in 60 years, so there were pipes popping all over.
