Well we have come this far in the effort to take the power from the far right wing wannabe authoritarian. Let’s follow through on Tuesday and throw them out on their rears. It would be extremely powerful if in Iowa the legislature turned blue along with offices such as the AG, Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of state or the Auditor.
You know what to do, now do it. It will make Wednesday a very happy day.

OPINION OF THE DAY: Today’s opinion of the day is by state Rep. Aime Wichtendahl in the Cedar Rapids Gazette. In it, she warns that Amendment 1 is a scheme to lock in massive corporate tax cuts for companies like Whirlpool, Deere, and Wells Fargo while shifting the burden onto everyday Iowans: “The bottom line is that Amendment 1 saves major corporations money on their tax bills while they shift the burden to you at the checkout line and on your monthly bills. Save yourself some money and vote no on Amendment 1 this November.” (Tuesday)
