Monday Action Alert from Bold Iowa:
Bold Iowa is setting up a #NoDAPL camp today with an Iowa farmer in Calhoun County, whose land was taken against her will via eminent domain to build the Dakota Access pipeline that threatens our land, water and property rights.
We’ll be planning nonviolent direct actions in the coming days where all will be invited to join us, but to respect Shirley’s wishes, we’re strictly limiting overnight camp population to 20 people.
Sign up to join us and stand with an Iowa landowner fighting Dakota Access and eminent domain abuse.
While overnight camping will be limited to 20 people, everyone is invited to join us during nonviolent direct actions to be scheduled in coming days to protect land and water. The camp will continue until we stop the pipeline or else construction is completed across Shirley’s land.
Stay tuned for details on upcoming actions in Calhoun County.
