As many of you know, I am among millions of Americans who will be looking to the Affordable Care Act to fill in some big holes in my health care. So I have been looking forward to October 1 with great anticipation.
This morning I accessed www.healthcare.gov early and started the signup process. I got the “system unavailable” sign four times. I just figured that the system was overwhelmingly busy.
Well the system is extremely busy, but while waiting I was checking other blogs. On democratic underground I found a little note that Google Chrome would not be processed by the health care website. So, be sure to use another browser if you are looking at the healthcare.gov website. Oh and be patient, the system is extremely busy. I am now using firefox as my browser and now I am getting a “system is down” message. Well, we have some time to sign up.
Also one important note.

If you try to go there, don’t use Chrome. There are some bugs in the code that keep the signup process from working with that browser.
