Sunday Funday Another Week In Review

just not sure

just not sure

I hope you are enjoying this. Putting together this little quiz for the previous week, it amazes me just how much information we are bombarded (pardon for using that word) with daily and how quickly we must forget some to make room for more. Guess that is why we write things down. Or we are supposed to. BTW, my anniversary is coming up. If anyone out there could help me remember the date and about how many years we have been married I would really appreciate the help. I think we have a week or two to figure it out.

Here we go:

1) Who is Katherine Russell?

2) What Iowa State Senator is accused of  illegally taking money from the Michele Bachmann campaign in 2011?

3) There was a dip in stock market Tuesday @ 1PM caused by a bogus message that the White House had been bombed. What was the value lost on stocks caused by the bogus tweet

4) Instead of keeping Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in the criminal justice system, Republican senators wanted him classified with what Orwellian status?

5) Max Baucus is retiring. Who is favored to run as the Democratic candidate to replace Baucus?

6) Workers were forced to go to work in a building showing glaring stress cracks. Where were these folks forced to work when the building collapsed killing or injuring many?

7) Multiple shootings happened last week in Seattle, Washington and this small Illinois town. What is the name of the small Illinois town to have a multiple shooting?

8) Violent protests took place Tuesday all over France as it became the became the 14th nation to allow what?

9) What two major businesses announced they would open or expand facilities in Iowa?

10) When speaking of Jeb Bush, this wise lady said “There are other people out there who are very qualified and we have had enough Bushes.”

11) This senator went on a screaming binge at Sen. Schumer when Schumer paraphrased remarks that senator had made about delaying the immigration bill in light of the Boston bombing.

12) After the West, Texas fertilizer plant explosion investigators found how many tons of highly volatile ammonium nitrate when 0 had been reported?

13) In what could be a far reaching decision a case pits Argentina against what type of funds group?

14) Esquire writer Charlie Pierce described this as a “manure locker” in an article on the day it opened. What was he talking about.

15) The House and Senate acted really quickly to relieve what group of people from the effects of sequestration?

Just seems like things are happening at a break neck pace anymore. Answers after my nap.
