The 2012 Farm Bill Forum

The 2012 Farm Bill Forum

Conserving the Land, Water, People and Communities:

Iowa Environmental Council

If you have not already registered, it's not too late! We hope you will be able to join us on Wednesday, June 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Des Moines Chapter of the Izaak Walton League, 4343 George Flagg Parkway, as we discuss the upcoming 2012 Farm Bill: a massive piece of legislation that determines how tens of billions of dollars will be spent to shape American agriculture, food policy and rural communities. Learn how the Farm Bill impacts our food, soil, air, water and budgets, and how you can shape sustainable food and farm priorities.

We will also invite you to share your thoughts on Iowa's Farm Bill conservation priorities.

This event is FREE, OPEN to the public, and LUNCH will be provided.
RSVP is required to allow organizers to plan for food.

Please contact Gwen Steel at (651) 649-1446 or gsteel@iwla.org to reserve your spot, or if you have any questions. We hope you will join us!
