Dear Friends, These days, too few politicians inspire the voters, offer true leadership, and deserve to be called statesmen or stateswomen. That's why I'm particularly excited about Secretary of State Michael Mauro's re-election. Mike understands the importance of his job and he's highly qualified based on years of local elections' experience. Monday, Mike will be our guest. Also today, we'll hear from Congressman Bruce Braley's campaign about Big Money's efforts to target Braley for his progressive stands on important issues. In fact, Braley is the far-right American Future Fund's top target, a distinction his constituents should reward with re-election.
Tuesday, Sean McMahon with Iowa's Water and Land Legacy joins me to talk about one of the most important items on next week's ballot, a proposed amendment that could do great things to move environmental protection forward in Iowa.
