Tonight, Tuesday, May 11, IPTV's Living in Iowa features an interview with former Democratic State Representative David Osterberg from Mt. Vernon.  He is an environmentalist and is part of the Iowa Energy Policy group.

This Imagine Iowa segment looks at enhancing Iowa's environment and developing environmentally friendly sources of energy.

In a state where most of the energy is imported, every energy dollar that Iowans spend in the state effectively adds more than a dollar in economic activity.

The development of renewable sources that utilize either what the state can grow, or its natural resources like wind helps to contain and re-invest the state's financial capital in Iowa rather than exporting it.

The success of these enterprises might not only improve the state's environment, but also make it more livable and attractive.
