Kim Weaver is challenging Steve King for Congress in District 4. BFIA posted previously about her candidacy when she said, “Iowa doesn’t need a Fox News celebrity. We need a representative.” So true.
A Bold Voice for Iowans
Kim believes that the people of Iowa’s 4th District need and deserve a voice in Congress. Issues that are important to our livelihood as well as our quality of life have been ignored and replaced with partisan grandstanding. It is time to send someone to Congress who believes it is better to get things done for the people than it is to make political statement. Kim is exactly that person.

Kim Weaver is so hard-working advocating for better lives for seniors in her current job. She will just as hard-working and sincere advocating for Iowa and all the USA as a Congresswoman. Kim tells the truth and is committed to Democrat principles that all Americans deserve to get their money’s worth from our government. That we have a government of the people and it should be for all the people and just not the ultra-rich who can afford to bribe politicians. Over half of American workers make less than $30,000. a year. This has got to change, and Social Security and Medicare has to be protected.
Kim will bring thoughtful consideration to the office of Congresswoman from Iowa’s 4th district. Kim will be a representative we can be very proud to call our own! She will advocate for those whose voices have been drowned out by the ones who just seem to be able to shout louder and more offensively! She shares the core values that we in rural Iowa have in our hearts: fairness, freedom, equality, justice, decency — for ALL.
All of Iowa, not just the 4th District, would be able to hold its head higher if a reasonable, thoughtful person like Kim Weaver went to Congress in King’s place.
I support Kim Weaver because she’s got a sensible vision for the 4th district’s future that doesn’t involve letting roads, communities and public institutions go to pot while a certain construction company rakes in the tax breaks.
