Sunday Funday Hey Where’s The Color Edition?

just not sure

just not sure

I may be getting old, but my old noggin seems to recollect that the trees should be in full splendor by now. Kitties, puppies and cute little humans should be pushing leaves into piles and then jumping into them with gleeful noises and happy bounces.  All this will come but a little later each year. Or did the Republicans shutdown fall too?

Well, while our Hawkeyes rest up and get ready to put a whooping on the Buckeyes next week I will ask you folks some questions.

1) President Obama Thursday suggested something else Republicans may want to add to their demands. What did Obama suggest?

2) He could have changed history. He could have beaten Obama for Senate. Oh but he didn’t try. What Super Bowl coach could have saved us?

3) I love the yellows and oranges of fall. What is the source of the yellows and oranges in leaves and fruits the and vegetables?

4) What was the name of the Republican that led his party into this debt showdown?

5) The debt crisis has what consumer advocate senator agreeing with Wall Street on what needs to be done?

6) The argument that “both parties are at fault” even though Republicans started the crisis is a logical fallacy known as what?

7) Congressperson Michele Bachmann believes the current crisis is an indication that the what is about to happen?

8) Some of the most beautiful color of the fall comes from these hardy flowers. What flower is often associated with the fall time homecoming events?

9) Fifty years ago what righty-lefty pitching duo led the LA Dodgers to a World Series sweep over the Yankees?

10) Tomorrow is Columbus Day. What was Columbus actually searching for when he landed in Hispanola?

11) Adm. Tim Giardini was second in command of the nation’s nuclear fleet until he was caught cheating. Where was he caught and what was he doing?

12) A truly rare event took place around Sioux City on Friday the 4th. It was a mile wide and caused a great deal of damage. What was the rare event?

13) A day that will live in history – Oct.19,1987. What made this such a historic day?

14) “Quit Yellen. I got the message!” Pres. Obama might have said this after he nominated Janet Yellen for what post?

15) The Supreme Court started off the year hearing a case that would loosen rules on what, even more than they did in Citizen’s United?

Do watched leaves turn color? I need a hobby!
