Help Retire Steve King: Christie Vilsack Listening Tour in Mason City Thursday
Thursday, Christie Vilsack will be in Mason City at the Iowa Works/Region 2 office, 600 S. Pierce Ave. at 8:30 a.m.At 9 a.m., she will greet supporters at the Mason City Architectural Interpretive Center, 530 First St. N.E.
At 10 a.m. she will be at North Iowa Area Community College
And here is a recent fundraising ask. If you can, help her retire Steve King.
As you know, I’ve spent the last month exploring a campaign to represent northwest Iowa in Congress. We’ve reviewed the landscape and there’s no doubt it would be a tough race: Republicans and their shadowy front groups will surely spend huge sums on dishonest attacks.
But as I’ve traveled around the communities in northwest Iowa and heard your stories, I have been heartened and humbled by your support. Now, the only question is whether we can put together the resources to win.
That’s why I’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 from grassroots supporters like you by midnight Friday to show that we have what it takes to win this race.
I know we can win if we show our grassroots support this week – I’m counting on you to help us succeed.
