Blog for Iowa Nuclear Power Coverage
Beginning on February 25, Blog for Iowa has covered the ascendancy of HF 561 and SF 390 in the Iowa Legislature. The bills are written by MidAmerican Energy, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, and are intended to take nuclear power investment and transfer the risks to rate payers so that financial investors would be willing to build a nuclear reactor in Iowa.
