Dear Friends,

Congressman Bruce Braley joins Dr. Charles Goldman and me for the opening segment of Monday's Fallon Forum, discussing the importance of holding Wall Street accountable. Charles and I also ponder a question we find ourselves asking on a regular basis: Why aren't more corporate CEOs in prison?

Tuesday, educator and Iowa State Education Association board member Dave O'Connor raises the alarm about efforts to privatize our schools. We all know the radical right has been conniving for years to dismantle public education, but Dave contends even President Obama is on the wrong side of the issue.

Wednesday, we talk with Paul Deaton of Physicians for Social Responsibility about Japan's nuclear disaster, and why Iowa lawmakers should put the brakes on expanding nuclear power. Paul points out that Iowa's Duane Arnold nuclear power plant is “a sister to the ones in Fukushima, and if you consider that the eight-hour electric generator backup plan at Fukushima failed, you have to question the adequacy of Duane Arnold's mere four-hour backup plan.”

Thursday, it being St. Patrick's Day (which, of course, is the most important holiday of the year), fellow Irishman and State Rep Dan Kelley joins me for a look at the latest ideas House Republicans have for turning the pot of gold at the end of Iowa's rainbow over to Governor Branstad's corporate sponsors.

Please take a minute to visit the Fallon Forum website,
make a donation and help support local, progressive talk radio. We're
entirely funded by local individuals, businesses and organizations!

And for more progressive talk radio, check out The Bradshaw Show from 1:00-4:00 Monday-Friday.

Thanks!
Ed Fallon
