Where To Watch The President's State Of The Union Address

Winning the Future

Live coverage of President Obama's State of the Union address, “Winning the Future,” can be found on all the major networks, CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, cable – CNN, C-Span, and MSNBC @ 8:00 P.M Central.  All times listed below are central.  Lots of hype and commentary will be happening before and after.  Below we also provide online opportunities for video and audio.

May we suggest that even without Olbermann, (who will Tweet tonight during SOTU) MSNBC will provide the best commentary (or you can watch on C-Span and decide for yourself how to think about it).

Here's a detailed schedule of MSNBC coverage that is being anchored by KO protege, Rachel Maddow.  Congratulations, Rachel!

Special coverage begins at 8 p.m. CT anchored by Rachel Maddow, with Chris Matthews, Lawrence O’Donnell, Ed Schultz and Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post. Following the dreaded GOP spin, The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell will air live at 10 p.m. CT and The Rachel Maddow Show will be live at 11 CT.

Below is MSNBC’s primetime schedule for Tuesday, January 25:

4:00 p.m. CT – Hardball with Chris Matthews

5:00 p.m. CT – MSNBC Live

6:00 p.m. CT – Hardball with Chris Matthews

7:00 p.m. CT – The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell

8:00 – 11:00 p.m. CT – Live coverage of the State of the Union Address

10:00 p.m. CT – A special live edition of “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell”

11:00 p.m. CT – A special live edition of “The Rachel Maddow Show”

There are plenty of places to get video and audio of the SOTU online, so take your pick, but the official White House website could be the best option.  Here's what we know with some help from Mashable.com.

The White House’s official portal delivers a unique and media-rich experience. With the WhiteHouse.gov official “enhanced viewing experience,” you’ll be able to see data displayed on charts and graphs as the president speaks.

Also, the White House will offer special online events in the hours and days following the address to answer questions and address important issues raised. Interested parties can submit questions via Twitter, Facebook  or a web form.

PBS’s NewsHour is hosting an Annotated State of the Union in partnership with UStream
