Door-Knocking For Sanity: “We Can’t Let Up”

Door-Knocking For Sanity:  “We Can't Let Up”

Here at BFIA we've been spending most of our spare time getting out the Democratic vote, as we're sure you have, too. Today, you can take a break from work or the phones or door-knocking by showing up at the rallies going on across the state.  Then break's over!  Back to work!  One more day til sleep!

Update:

The Des Moines Register's latest Iowa poll…shows Culver up 9 percentage points with voters who have already cast their ballot and surging with independent voters…Culver and his fellow Democrats will hold rallies in seven cities as part of a train tour of eastern Iowa…a Democratic stronghold. The tour will include stops in Davenport, Iowa City, Grinnell and Newton. (See today's tour schedule below) Along for the ride will be Democrats running for Congress and statewide office. Branstad told the Register’s Kathie Obradovich that “it’s all down to turnout at this point in time.” Iowa Independent

President Obama said yesterday:

“We
can't let up.  Not now.  Not when there's so much at stake.  We need to
dig deep…get out there…knock on doors…make phone calls…talk to
friends, families and co-workers…we always knew change wouldn't be
easy…you got involved because you believed you could make a difference
and you were right.  We did it before…now let's get out there and
finish the job.”  Video
