Dear Friends,
Monday, Greg Hughes is my guest. He's an independent candidate for governor, and not getting a lot of attention in the mainstream press. As I see it, part of the mission of local talk radio is to give underdogs of all political stripes a chance to be heard. So check out Greg's website and join the conversation tonight.
Tuesday, we'll dig into what Chet Culver and Terry Branstad have to say about pre-school, and I hope to have representatives from both campaigns in the studio to field questions and comments. Their positions differ significantly, and it should be a provocative conversation.
Wednesday, State Representative Ako Abdul-Samad joins me for a broad conversation about the Iowa political landscape. He's up for re-election, too, but is running unopposed.
Thursday, Andy Shaffer leads our conversation about who really benefits when the Federal Reserve takes action to boost the economy. Hint: it's not Joe Q Public.
