Friends,

We're thrilled to announce that Bill McKibben will be the Fallon Forum's guest by phone for the full hour this Wednesday, October 6th. Bill has gained international renown for his tireless work on climate change, both as author and activist. His 350.org effort is one of the most important grassroots initiatives in the world, and there are several local events planned for October 10th (see below). Bill will speak in Iowa City on October 13th and in Des Moines on October 15th.

Monday, I talk with Democratic candidate for Secretary of Agriculture, Francis Thicke, about his energy policy.

Tuesday's program is still in formation.

Wednesday, it's Bill McKibben.

Thursday, we'll discuss the second debate between Chet Culver and Terry Branstad.

Ed and Lynn Fallon
