Tuesday, June 8, is primary day, but did you know it is also World Oceans Day?
There's no need to feel powerless as the oil spill grows ever more unwieldy. Conversation on the Huffington Post has been strong and productive, and Tuesday, in honor of World Oceans Day, Huffington Post is taking these conversations into the real world.
With the help of Meetup Everywhere, over 1,500 people have self-organized to arrange 300 Meetups around the world.
After the Meetups happen, we are asking organizers to report their findings back to us so we can report on what YOU determine to be the best ways to respond to the gulf crisis.
This is a powerful forum to meet fellow concerned citizens and to participate actively in change.
