Iowa Veterans for Peace

Blog for Iowa contributors and veterans Paul Deaton and Ed Flaherty of eastern Iowa are honoring the day by holding up a Veterans for Peace banner along US Highway 6 this morning.  “Veterans are for peace, not war,” Deaton said. 

Paul and Ed are outstanding patriots and tireless progressive activists.

Don't forget to say thank you to a veteran today.
