Health Care Reform Update: Iowans, Now It’s Your Turn – August Recess Action!

The forces lined up against true health care reform are powerful, wealthy, and influential with our Representatives and Senators. They are working to sow fear amongst our fellow citizens by spreading disinformation about Democratic proposals in Congress. What is the only force powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with anti-reform corporate interests and their allies in Washington? We, the people (in Deanspeak, “peoplepower”). If you want quality, affordable health care for everyone in this richest nation on the face of the earth, attend a town hall meeting with your Representative or Senator during the August recess. Not only that, invite your family, your friends, your doctors, and all the people in your email groups to come along!

I was able to pull together information about scheduled town hall meetings for the Congressmen listed below. In many cases the schedule isn’t up yet, but I linked to the site where the schedule will eventually appear (or where I think it will appear).
