If You Only Read Two Articles Today, Read These

by Linda Thieman

You're tired, maybe even cranky. You've been at work all day or out with GOTV. You want to know that what you are doing, that what you care about, really makes a difference.

Well, it does. This evening, I recommend the following two articles, the likes of which I never thought I'd see once the presidential election was tampered with in 2000.

The first is from the National Journal Online, called “In Endgame, Metrics Are Adding Up For Obama.”  It summarizes nicely exactly how it is looking good for Obama at this point, and provides an astute analysis.

The second, stirring article was written by a former life-long Republican, Frank Schaeffer, called “Obama Will Be One of The Greatest (and Most Loved) American Presidents.” Schaeffer perfectly captures the essence of the man and why he is suited to lead his country at this time of crisis, as Schaeffer has come to believe that Barack Obama is the one who can usher sorely-needed healing into our wounded national consciousness.

Get yourself a little something to sip on and enjoy.

Ah yes, is like music to this hopeful progressive's ears…
I saw you referenced my blog, DemocralypseNow, in a past post and appreciate the kind words. Is there any way to get in touch with you? I realize the comments section is not ideal, but it was the only I could reach you. My email is jfarby@yahoo.com. Feel free to drop me a line, would love to discuss some things with you. Thanks!
