New Iowa Poll Shows Obama with 12 Point Lead
In Iowa, Barack Obama has taken a double-digit lead over John McCain and that circus, according to The Des Moines Register's latest Iowa Poll.The poll, taken in the wake of the parties' national conventions, shows Obama favored by 52 percent of Iowa's likely voters, compared to 40 percent for McCain (and a 14-point spread amongst women).
