The floods of 2008 have been a disaster for Iowans and for some in the
labor movement a tremendous burden. The Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-

The national Red Cross has assigned a labor liaison Verne Wagner has
been assigned to Iowa and is working in the Cedar Rapids area. If you

The Hawkeye Labor Council, AFL-CIO in Cedar Rapids is asking for
volunteers on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 to work from 7:00
AM – 4:00 PM. show up at the Westdale Mall Parking Lot ? in front of
the former Big Lots store. Those who would like assistance in cleaning
up their homes and those who are able to volunteer, please call
