Iowa Talks Back on Foreign Policy

Iowa Talks Back on Foreign Policy

By Erin Finucane, Better World Campaign

The
Better World Campaign, together with the Iowa United Nations
Association, is hosting a series of five forums in Iowa’s Congressional
Districts. Each forum will give Iowans an opportunity to express their
views on how the candidates plan to address global challenges such as
peace and security, climate change, poverty and hunger, and human
rights.  Candidate positions will be explored and the floor will
be open for discussion. A state wide forum will be held in Des Moines
on October 16th at the Iowa Hunger Summit featuring Jim Leach on
“Advancing International Cooperation to Address Global Challenges.”
