August and September Energy Events

The following four events (scheduled in August and September) will present speakers, workshops, and exhibits which will be of interest to those who are concerned about alternative energy, energy conservation, and the impact of global climate change.
Illinois Renewable Energy and Sustainable Lifestyle Fair
When:
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 11th, 2007
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 12th, 2007
Where:
Ogle County Fairgrounds, in Oregon, Illinois
Admission:
Adults $7 per day or $10 for both days
Youths (12-16) $3 per day or $5 for both days
Children (12 and under) Free, if in the company of an adult

The Illinois Renewable Energy Association (IREA) supports sustainable energy development in Illinois. The IREA provides hands-on opportunities for the Illinois public to learn about the benefits, potentials, and uses of renewable energy and energy-efficiency for our homes and businesses.

I-RENEW Energy Expo 2007

Presented by:
Iowa Renewable Energy Association (I-Renew), a membership based, nonprofit
organization dedicated to educating Iowans about renewable energy.
Intended audience:

The EXPO features workshops and speakers covering many topics- from
renewable energy- wind, solar & more, green building, entrepreneurship
and DIY (Do-it-Yourself), childrens art, energy efficient technology, renewable
fuels, alternative transportation, advocacy, etc.
