Support a Common Sense Budget and Protect Our Children's Future

By True Majority

Can you support the Budget Priorities Campaign with a gift of $25 or more?

We'll send you 5 postcards with a special Mother's Day message that you can send to Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Does it make sense to you that next year, while our schools continue to crumble and over eight million kids live without health care, Congress will spend $699 billion on national defense?1 It doesn't make sense to us either. That's why TrueMajority is working to put a little common sense into the federal budget.

We already have a bill in the House, called the Common Sense Budget Act2, which would take $60 billion in wasted Pentagon spending and use it for education, health care and other human needs programs that all of us care about. And we'll be campaigning across the country all summer to build support for a federal budget that makes sense. But it won't happen without your support.

If you donate $25 or more to our national campaign to put some common sense into the federal budget, we'll send you 5 Mother's Day postcards that you and your friends can send to Speaker Nancy Pelosi — urging her to straighten out the federal budget.

We've joined forces with Mothers Acting Up, CODEPINK and others this Mother's Day to send a message to Speaker Nancy Pelosi that there shouldn't be anything more important in the federal budget than prioritizing the future of our children.

So, please take a minute to support our campaign to set our budget priorities straight, and send Speaker Pelosi a Mother's day card to boot. Mothers across the country will thank you!

Sincerely,
