I wanted to give you a personal heads-up that I plan to get to Macedonia tomorrow, Thursday, at 12:30, and hope to be meeting a crowd of supporters there. Tomorrow's run destinations will include Macedonia, Carson, and Oakland. During the run, I'm stopping at all farmsteads and houses along the route between towns, and doing some doorknocking in the towns when time permits. To avoid inconveniencing supporters, I'm careful to hit the time estimates for my arrivals in each town, so 12:30 should be within minutes of my actual arrival in Macedonia.
Last Thursday, I began the run in Pacific Junction, met supporters in Glenwood, and continued on to Silver City. Monday morning supporters saw me off from Silver City for a run to Mineola, where I knocked on doors throughout town before continuing on to Treynor. Today, Wednesday, I'll run from Treynor to the turnoff from Hwy 92 to Macedonia. I hope to complete all 106+ miles before the end of September.
