Boswell's Millions (Not Quite Yet, But Almost)

How powerful is Barbara Boxer? Her PAC For a Change, sent out an email today asking people to give Leonard Boswell some money. After one day, he's got almost $6,000 from her PAC alone, and an astounding $20,000 from a bunch of other ActBlue pages. That's a lot of money for an Iowan to get from California. For those interested in math, that's about $35 per donor, so it's not all big donors. Boxer deserves credit for passing the hat, and we Iowans should get some recognition from Boswell that we helped get him the most votes for an incumbent on the poll. Maybe he should dedicate a TV add to us. Suggestions for what that might look like?

I think this is a first step in terms of linking people out in California who have lots of money and few competitive races to. If we can continue to get them to give to us out here, we'll go far in linking Democrats across the nation, financially and ideologically. That's a good thing.
