Hysterically Funny New “News” Show on Comedy Central
Monday was the debut of an hysterically funny new half-hour “news” show on Comedy Central – The Colbert Report.
If you loved Stephen Colbert's ham-handed, pretentious Stone Phillips-like news reports on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, you won't want to miss the new Colbert Report (the “t” is silent – and I'm talking about the word Report!).
The Col-bear Re-por airs on Comedy Central at 10:30pm Iowa time,
Monday through Thursday, following The Daily Show, and makes a mockery
of today's smarmy, slanted corporate media and the trained monkeys who
deliver the pseudo-news.
Stone Phillips was the first guest – and
I'm not even kiddin'! My only regret is that Col-bear did not ask
“Stone” if that is some kind of fakey, made-up name or if his parents
handed that to him on a silver birth certificate. A missed
opportunity, to be sure.
Each episode re-airs the following day at 12:30am, 9:30am, 1:30pm and 7:30pm Iowa time.
Ah, the members of IBLTV will LOVE this show! Take a little break from the good fight and laugh yourself silly!
