New York City Musician Endorses Art Small With New Song

by Michael Ander

U.S. Senate candidate Art Small
has been gaining some very prominent endorsements lately.  None
too shabby is the one he has received from Nobel Prize-winning
economist George Akerlof.  Akerlof is campaigning in Iowa this week.

But I have another one to make — it’s from me, Ranzo Rising.  You can see more at my web site here.

People
wonder why a musician from New York would care about a Senate candidate
in Iowa.  And I tell them because that is where I can personally
have the largest impact.  Iowa is a major battleground as we move
into this last week of the election, and my support of Art Small in
Iowa will perhaps more directly affect the outcome of the Presidential
race in Kerry’s favor than directing my support toward Kerry himself

But
there is another reason — I truly admire Art Small.  He is a man
who lays it all out on the table.  His web site is rich with
content on where he stands on the important issues facing our
country.  He does not give easy answers to tough questions.
He never has — and never will — accept donations from special interest
groups.  My friends, THIS is the kind of man we need in office, at
all levels of the game.

The song I have written is entitled “Come Clean”.
It directly calls into question Bush’s inability to be straight with
the American people regarding the war in Iraq.  It arose from my
utter disgust for the way the American people were deceived when the
case for going to war was presented.  The song is already gaining
some national “buzz”, and I am on a mission to make sure it
continues.  You can see some of the acceptance it is gaining here:

Please take a moment to visit www.ranzorising.com,
download the song, pass it on, and support Art Small in his run for
U.S. Senate.  With the help of this song and its national
acceptance, we will be able to tip Iowa decisively blue in this
election.

Sincerely,

Michael Ander
