Progressive Vote at DemocracyFest
A Message from ProgressiveVote.org
This has been an exciting week at Progressive Vote. We have mobilized our base toward action around the announcement that a bipartisan committee found the intelligence used to take us to war was inaccurate and erroneous.
This is what a majority of our grassroots already knew. We have also
heard from groups in Northern California, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas
and New Hampshire organizing new Progressive Caucuses under the
Progressive Vote banner.
We
have built a strong organization from the bottom up. Our grassroots
have illustrated that they have a strong desire and the skills needed
to lead this movement. We have built strong bridges into the
progressive communities of the Dean, Kucinich, and Nader 2000
supporters at the grassroots level, uniting a strong dedicated base.
Progressive Vote Shares Stage with Gov. Dean
Progressive
Vote has been asked to take the stage with well-known organizers to
celebrate the success of the grassroots in 2004. We are deeply honored
to share the stage with former Presidential Candidate Gov. Howard Dean.
We would
like to encourage all who can attend to please consider doing so. This
will be a great event in which attendees will have a chance to attend
workshops, listen to leaders in the cause, and network with fellow
activists around the issue of restoring our democracy.

This is yet another example of the grassroots working together to unite the “progressive vote.”

Anybody want to help me out and get a free trip to DemocracyFest. I am looking for somebody who can share the driving with me to get to DemocracyFest and help in my booth their. In return I will pick up all expenses and buy your flight back to Iowa from Boston. On Monday, July 26.
My plan is to leave Iowa very early in the morning Wed. July 21. I will be camping along the way or staying with hosts. I have a new large tent and all the necessary camping gear including a full size inflatable bed for your use.
