May 27, 2004 – George W. Bush could win the state of Iowa in the 2004
United States presidential election, according to a poll by Zogby
International published in the Wall Street Journal Online. 50.1 per
cent of respondents would vote for the Republican incumbent, while 44.9
per cent would support prospective Democratic nominee John Kerry.

Kerry Bounces Back In Iowa

May 28, 2004 – Massachusetts senator John Kerry could carry the state
of Iowa in the 2004 United States presidential election, according to a
poll by Research 2000 released by KCCI-TV. 48 per cent of respondents
would vote for the prospective Democratic nominee, while 43 per cent
would support Republican incumbent George W. Bush.




Gee, and it only took Kerry one day to bounce back!  Nice headline, guys.
