The Dean Dozen

According to a report today in the Washington Times, one of the strategies that Democracy for America will use to focus resources on specific candidates will be to categorize certain candidates as “The Dean Dozen.”

These progressive candidates will be endorsed by DFA later in the week.  The Dean Dozen will be made up primarily of non-incumbent Congressional candidates.

DFA expects to provide “grassroots support” in addition to raising funds for the candidates.
