Ruth Ann Gaines is running for City Council in Des Moines.  Inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame in 2003 and honored by the Iowa House of Representatives, Gaines is a progressive and a Dean supporter.

Primary Day:  Tuesday, April 13, 2004

Election Day:  Tuesday, May 11, 2004
