After Voting To Gut Medicaid, Mariannette Miller-Meeks Looks Ahead To Authoring Cruel Cuts On Key Committee

As a Member of the Energy & Commerce Committee, Mariannette Miller-Meeks will be tasked with authoring devastating and cruel cuts to Medicaid after she cast the deciding vote on a Budget Scam that balloons the federal deficit and guts health care coverage for 66,000 people and food assistance for nearly 29,000 households in Iowa’s First Congressional District.

Meanwhile, her own constituents are demanding answers regarding her disastrous vote to decimate health care access for hardworking families.

Now, Miller-Meeks is MIA and will be working behind closed doors with extremists on Energy & Commerce to make more than $880 billion in cuts over the next 10 years to Medicaid.
