“This is obviously an attempt to restrict the public’s access to state government agencies – fewer members on boards, fewer boards, fewer opportunities for citizens to interact so it reduces opportunitiess to give public input and reduces opportunities for public oversight of state government functions. The work on this committee was done largely in scecret. It was done with subcommittees of 2 people and they did that in order to avoid open meetings law.
