Patty Judge joined fellow Democrats Rep. Dave Loebsack and  Monica Vernon on the campaign trail Sunday in Johnson County.

“When I entered the race, conventional wisdom was that we could not ever defeat Chuck Grassley, that he is everyone’s favorite uncle, that Iowans are used to voting for him and will vote for him again. And I’m here to tell you no. That is not true. We know we can beat him. Today we are on track to do that. We have seen polling over the last 6 weeks that shows us – every poll – shows us from either a virtual tie to down 6 or 8 points. We are not any further down than that. We are just single digits behind him and that’s the first time in his political history that has happened to him. And we can win this.”
