Just last month, WakeUpWalMart.com spent six days touring Iowa as part of our 2006 “Change Wal-Mart, Change America” national bus tour.
 
Now, we'd like to thank all of our Iowa volunteers and grassroots supporters with FREE tickets to join WakeUpWalMart.com this Sunday, September 17th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Indianola for the 29th annual Harkin Steak Fry with keynote speaker U.S. Senator Barack Obama.

As you may know, the steak fry is a time-honored tradition in Iowa politics and it is critical that all of Iowa's political leaders (as well as a few presidential hopefuls) hear from you about our desire for corporate responsibility, afforable health care for all and economic security.
 
If you come to the steak fry as part of the WakeUpWalMart.com campaign,we will cover your entry fee, give you a yard sign, and even give you a free limited-edition “Change Wal-Mart, Change America” national bus tour T-shirt to be worn at the event.

Not to mention you will join Senator Tom Harkin and Senator Barack Obama as they serve up thick juicy steaks, chicken, veggie burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, beer, and all the fixings.
