Hello from the New Editor

Greeting Democracy for Iowans!

My
name is Sam Garchik.  Some of you may know me from the Art Small
for U.S. Senate campaign, where I drove 10,000 miles without ever
leaving the state of Iowa (OK, I did go to Omaha, but only once). 
In talking to many of you, I was reminded of how progressive ideas can
make great improvements in our lives.

I
have tremendous respect for the work Linda has done to create this
site.  Her hard work has given us the potential to create ideas
and make them real across the state, improving the lives of millions of
Iowans.

With
primary elections only two months away, and an important governor's
race in November, we can continue to use this site to improve life in
Iowa.

It's time to get to work.
