The Dean/Nader Debate Schedule

NPR to Carry Debate Live On-Air and On-Line

NPR's
Margot Adler will host the debate before a live studio audience on
Friday, July 9, from 1:00 to 2:00pm, Iowa time, at the National Press
Club in Washington, DC.

To listen to the debate live on-line, visit http://www.justicetalking.org or http://www.npr.org.

The
debate will be broadcast live on C-Span 3, also.  Does anybody
actually get C-Span 3?  Maybe if you have a dish.  It may be
replayed on another C-Span later in the day.

New Dazzling T-Shirt/Sign Designs

If
you're in the mood to support the Kerry/Edwards ticket, Democracy for
Iowa, and Blog for Iowa all at the same time, you ought to take a look
at these great designs DFIA Founding Member Darrell Lewis came up
with.  They are posted on the right sidebar of Blog for Iowa, in
PDF format.  You can print them out on thicker stock to use as a
small sign, or you can use the designs as T-shirt transfers.
Thanks, Darrell!

I

MoveOn.org Supports Fridley Ban Protest

Didn't
know if you'd seen this, but MoveOn.org sent out an email to their
members in support of the protest against R.L. Fridley's ban on
“Fahrenheit 9/11” in 31 small-town Iowa theaters (and three in
Nebraska).

And, of course, Ken Lay Has Been Indicted

Everyone has heard this by now
But, for those of us who practically had Gov. Dean's stump speech
memorized, word for word and line for line, Blog for Iowa wonders how many of
“the boys” will be joining good ol' Kenny-boy Lay.

  1. Unknown's avatar Anonymous says:

Well if the DOJ doesn't screw up the prosecution of the case against him and Bush doesn't give KennyBoy a pardon as he leaves office, then I hope he has lots of company from his cronies from Enron. Of course he will wind up in the prison down at Eglin AFB, Fl, pulling work details around the several military installations there. Perhaps he will run into an inmate who has a rather dim view of KennyBoy screwing his brother out of their retirement.
