Howard Dean's New Websites
The new websites are up for Democracy for America and Blog for America. A big improvement, I'd say. Lots of colors, and well organized.
DFA 2.0 also has their first BAT up.
Take a look, and take a swing, if you are so inclined.

According to Tom McMahon today, the Commons/Get Local/Deanlink feature is being revamped, too, and ought to be up and running soon.
Although, weirdly, there is no picture of Gov. Dean on either of the sites. Maybe Dean Rapid Response should turn that into an action item! Well, if they don't, I imagine the Crushies for Dean site will.

Linda, I can't believe you linked to Crushies for Dean. Okay, true confessions. There's a picture of me and my daughter with my Flat Howard in the Crushies photo gallery. It's on the right side, about three fourths of the way down. No one will admit to putting it there. Richard Hoefer (developer of DeanMall and DeanPort and more) took the picture, but says he doesn't know how it got there.
Okay, guys, despite the picture, I am NOT a Crushie for Dean. I do think he is amazingly good looking, especially up close and personal, and that smile is to die for. BUT, I prefer my men dark. My attraction to Howard is entirely platonic.

We all KNOW it was just a matter of time before we linked to Crushies for Dean!
I'm in the same boat you're in. There is not a PHOTO of me on the Crushies site, but when I posted on BFA after meeting the Gov for the second time in January, the Crushies drafted me and put up my post. Hey, it's not MY fault that I lost my ability to speak English when I met him!
And, since Marla, who is one of the people who runs Crushies, had contributed to my Virtual Steak Fry Dean Bloggers' Barbeque Recipe and Howard Dean Haiku booklet, I felt I at least owed her the chance to let me make a fool of myself on the Crushies site.
So, I'm NOT a Crushie, either, but there you have it.

I had to look around, but I found your comment at Crushies. I loved the part about all you could say was “thank you” like it was the only word you knew in a foreign language! LOL
So we find ourselves in the same boat indeed, both seemingly “outed” as Crushies, both protesting that we aren't REALLY Crushies.

When I read your Crushies disclaimer, I thought, “Me thinks thou dost protest too much.” Of course, that only applies to you and not to me!
Yeah, I was outed by the Crushies. You know, they LIKE it when you turn other Crushies in. Say, for example, someone calls the Gov a “hunk” on BFA or even some other blog. The Crushies ask you to copy the post and E-MAIL it to them!
