One candidate who can really use our help is Dave Franker of North Liberty. Dave is the only Dem. running for Congress in the 2nd district against Jim Leach(R). Dave's web site is www.frankerforcongress.com. There you can find out more about him, but he is a terrific guy, very progressive, and really in need of help. Leach is a slippery fellow who has learned over his too-long career how to appeal to folks on both sides of every issue.
